We exist to see lives changed through Jesus.

We want to help hurting people find answers to life’s challenging questions by looking into God’s Word together. We also want to equip believers in Jesus to always be ready to explain why they believe what it is they believe, so that they can help others experience a second chance.

Ultimately, we want to share a loving God to an ever changing culture and to extend His grace and truth to every person.

These are our beliefs and practices.

What We Believe

God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal parts of one God.

Genesis 1:1,26,27, 3:22Psalm 90:2Matthew 28:19I Peter 1:2II Corinthians 13:14

Jesus

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven and will return again to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Matthew 1:22-23Isaiah 9:6John 1:1-5, 14:10-30Hebrews 4:14-15I Corinthians 15:3-4Romans 1:3-4Acts 1:9-11I Timothy 6:14-15Titus 2:13

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every believer from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

II Corinthians 3:17John 16:7-13, 14:16-17Acts 1:8I Corinthians 2:12, 3:16Ephesians 1:13Galatians 5:25Ephesians 5:18

The Bible

The Bible is God's Word to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the ultimate source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

II Timothy 3:16-17II Peter 1:20-21II Timothy 1:13Psalm 119:105,160Psalm 12:6Proverbs 30:5

Salvation

Salvation is God's gift to you if you will accept it. We can never make up for our sin with self-improvement or good works. It is only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness that you can be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment you receive Jesus Christ into your life by faith.

Romans 6:23Ephesians 2:8-9John 14:6, 1:12Titus 3:5Galatians 3:26Romans 5:1

Man

Man is made in the image of God as the supreme object of God's creation. God designed man to have fellowship with Him, but man became alienated from God through disobedience. We are all born with a sinful nature and choose to sin against God. We are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through our own efforts.

Genesis 1:27Psalm 8:3-6Isaiah 53:6Romans 3:23Colossians 1:21,Isaiah 59:1-2

Eternity

You were created to exist forever. We believe that forever is spent in one of two places: eternally separated from God because of sin or in union with God because of His forgiveness and salvation. When you die, you will either spend eternity in heaven or hell. Eternal separation from God happens in hell. Eternal union with God occurs in heaven.

John 3:16I John 2:25, 5:11-13Romans 6:23Revelation 20:15

Eternal Security

Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and eternal power of God that gives this security.

John 10:29II Timothy 1:12Hebrews 7:25, 10:10-14I Peter 1:3-5

What We Practice

The Bible as Our Sole Authority
Since God's Word is the only completely reliable and truthful authority, we accept the Bible as our manual for living. Our first question when faced with a decision is “What does the Bible say?” We practice daily Bible reading, Bible study, and Bible memorization. The Bible is the basis for all we believe.
Priesthood of Every Believer
The Bible teaches that every Christian is called to “full-time” Christian service, regardless of his or her vocation. We practice the truth that every believer is a minister by encouraging every member to find a place of service and ministry. Every believer has direct access to God through prayer and Bible reading.
Tithing

At Celebration we practice tithing for the support of Christ's body, the church, as God commands. We recognize that giving 10% of our income is the Biblical standard of giving.

(Note: We should not give out of a sense of duty or legalism for God loves a cheerful giver.)
Babtism by Immersion
We practice baptism by immersion under water—the way Jesus was baptized, and the way the Bible commands.
Spirit-Led Living
We believe the only way possible to live the Christian life is by God's power within us. We seek to practice a daily dependence on God's Spirit to enable us to do what is right.
Telling Others About Christ
It is the responsibility of every Christian to share the Good News with those whom God brings us into contact. We practice personal sharing about Christ and inviting friends to church.

This is how we worship.

Our focus is to come into His presence, where there is maximum joy, healing, peace and even stillness.

Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise! His greatness no one can fathom! We are Celebrators of His greatness, and we believe in the biblical forms of worship in our services. We have a contemporary music style, along with blending some foundational hymns, our focus is to come into His presence, where there is maximum joy, healing, peace and even stillness. We at Celebration are just amazed at who Jesus is and want to show our love back to Him for such a wonderful gift He offers to us all, the gift of eternal life! So yeah, we get a little loud!

Meet our pastors.
